The University of Essex are running a 1-day 'Creating a Business Plan' course on March 3, 2008. The 'Creating a Business Plan' course covers the detail involved in creating a business plan, explaining how to develop key indicators to track the progress of the plan, how to manage the budgetary aspects of a plan, and how to revise and review the plan over time. The course looks at how business planning is used in forming a new business and will teach you all the fundamentals of writing a business plan including budgeting, forecasting, how to provide the information lenders need and persuasive presentation. ‘Introduction to Business Planning’ starts on Wednesday September 21 and runs for 8 weeks (6-8.30pm).

Annual Entrepreneurs Summer School

Business Start-Up at Leeds Met runs an annual fast-track residential course that will help you to produce a business plan. During the week-long course you’ll learn about generating ideas and the business concept, analysing the market, promoting your business, sales and cashflow forecasting and raising money from banks and venture capitalists.
